Magic chairs

Do you ever have one of those magical days when your kids are playing together nicely with a toy? 

For me it was the 2 chairs that go to the kiddie table. Mason has discovered he can climb up on them so of course that's all he wanted to do yesterday.

Aidan decided to join in and they played nicely for quite some time! Hooray!

The Mohawk that almost WAS

You know its summer in our neighborhood when you see Wells and Maddox sporting genuine mohawk haircuts.

They are officially the coolest kids around once school is out.

Michele claims the rule is you had to be 3 in her house to get one. Sounds fair enough, so we decided to let Aidan join them in their hair adventure this summer!

On Mason's birthday I got Aidan's 3 year photos done and then Ryan got to work with the clippers.

It turned out awesome.

I decided he needed a little trim in the front and then Ry said "oh just grab me a #4 attachment and I'll trim the whole top of it."

Oops. Apparently a #4 was WAAAAAAy too close.

Bye bye mohawk :(

So we'll wait for it to grow some more and try again......

With our spectators in the stands once again.

Sticker Books

Mason woke up crabby from his nap one day and I thought that since Aidan was doing sticker books that maybe it would be something that would entertain Mason for a bit too. So I got out another sticker book and set Mason on the couch with Aidan to play, and they cooperated very nicely!!

Not only are stickers fun, but apparently they are tasty, too.

And they make great accessories for your legs.....

or your furniture......

Thankfully they are only half as sticky as normal stickers since they are reusable for the sticker books, so they come right off of any smooth surface.

I guess at this point I decided to feed Mason and then he was all better, but this face is hilarious!
